Studied archaeology and art history and later received a master’s degree in Byzantine
archaeology from AUTh. She has worked in excavations (Greece and Italy) and research
projects, including digital documentation. Interested in Late Byzantine period, interpretation
and symbolism in church architecture, imperial ideology and patronage, historiography of
studies concerning Byzantine architecture.
