Studied art history at University of Belgrade and completed her doctorate studies at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and University of Fribourg. Her interests lie in the art of the Byzantine world, monumental paintings and aesthetics; perceptions of the past and phenomena of reuse (spolia); historiography of Byzantine studies.
