Assoc. Prof. of Archaeology and History of Art
Nikos has studied archaeology and history of art in the Universities of Athens and Birmingham. He has worked at the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, and the University of Peloponnese, before joining the Department of Archaeology and History of Art at Koç University, and going on to become the Director of Byzantine Studies at Dumbarton Oaks. His interests lie in the fields of military and domestic architecture, material and visual culture, and industrial and commercial networks in the eastern Mediterranean.
